Name Art

I have been learning how to share something about myself in my art. I used string to make a pattern inside the letters of my name. I chose pink and purple because the colours look good together and they are my favourite colours. Something that challenged me doing this art was putting in the nails because it was tricky getting them straight and making them in the wood so they don't point out the side of the wood. It was also tricky getting the nails to be the same height. I liked using the hammer to bang in the nails. I am proud of my string and nail art because I put in lots of effort.

Mary Celeste Writing

 I have been learning to add detail to my writing to  make the reader want to read more. Something that challenged me was writing like I was on the boat. listen carefully to my story.

Totara Tree

We are called Totara Whanau because the Totara tree is our symbol and we are family who learn together,we had to work in groups to paint a small  branch. We all had to work as a team to get the branch finished. when we were all done painting we went into the hall to share our creations and we combined together to make our branches into a tree. This tree is uniqe to Totara whanau.

I am learning to share  information. Why I chose gymnastics: because I know a lot of information about it. Something that challenged me was finding all of the information. Next time I will put the words first not the pictures.I am proud of my Presentation because I worked very hard on it and I learnt to make a google slide to share my learning.
